FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE!!! This is the most anticipated time of year for my sons and husband. They LOVE football (along with basketball, baseball and golf)! But, hands down, Football is their all time favorite! And the only thing that makes watching the games even better, (other than seeing their favorite teams winning), is munching on their favorite football snacks!
Great food makes everything more fun- especially football games! And a guy can get really hungry jumping up and down while rooting for his team.
Now, any good Mom, girlfriend or significant other knows that to serve the best football snacks, you have to follow a few necessary rules.
Rule #1: No Fancy Sit Down Dinners During a Football Game... a guy has to be free to jump up and scream at any moment.
Rule #2: Everything Has to be Finger Foods… you really don’t want your football fan holding a fork or knife when his team’s quarterback throws an interception- that could be bad!
Rule #3: There Has to be a Wide Assortment of All Kinds of Foods and Desserts…please don’t just order them a pizza and thinks that should do it. They need hearty foods, salty foods, and sweet foods (and as many in each of these categories as possible!).
Rule #4: Keep the Food Coming…there’s nothing worse than a time out in the game and your football fan goes to grab another handful of football snacks …and there’s nothing to grab- how awkward is that!
Rule #5: Never ever stand there and expect to be thanked for all your hard work preparing all their favorite football snacks while they are watching the game…a true football fan can not be expected to remember trivial things like manners when he is so focused on the game! (Everybody knows that!)
The Best 10 Minute Bruschetta Ever!
This is an awesomely good recipe for Bruschetta. It’s so easy to make and it gets eaten so fast (be sure to hide a little bowl away for yourself before serving it to hungry football fans!).

This has got to be the easiest and tastiest guacamole we have ever tasted! Be sure to make lots of it and have plenty of tortilla chips because it will go fast! This also tastes great on tacos or taquitos.
