If I could pick out one toy that was my favorite to watch my granddaughter play on, it would have to be her Step 2 All Star Sports Climber slide.
We bought it for her when she was about 18 months old, and to this day, it is still one of her favorite things to play on. It took her quite a while to learn to climb the stairs herself, (and quite a while for me to step back and let her do it herself!), but once she mastered it, there was no stopping her!
Her all time favorite game to do with the slide is to take about 5 of her dollies to the top, sit them all down and yell, “Hold on girls!” as she pushes them all down the slide together. She laughs so hard as she watches them slipping down the slide all by themselves (the dolls might not see the humor in this game, but she thinks it’s the funniest thing in the world!).
Another really great feature about the Step 2 All Star Sports Climber is that it’s not too heavy for one person (usually me) to carry inside or outside (which some days we do quite often). So far, she doesn’t have much interest in throwing the basketball in the hoop, but she loves rolling it down the slide and chasing after it.
Another fun game we play is racing little hot wheels down the slide. And when she is really feeling creative, she loves to build little towers out of her blocks and let the cars crash into them while yelling “boomie!” as the blocks go crashing down.
All in all, I think this Step 2 All Star Sports Climber is one of my favorite toys that I’ve purchased for my granddaughter because of all the fun she has playing so many different games with it. I love to see her come up with new little ways to entertain herself with this great combo toy!
