Best Mouth Watering Scones Ever!!!

Most people are not big Scone lovers.  They are often a little dry and kind of bland.

But, oh my goodness, wait until you try these Heavenly Wild Blueberry Scones!!

Jules and I have been to a few Tea Parties for wedding showers and have always wanted to have one of our own.

At the tea parties that we attended, the food was always quite good and cute (with the little finger sandwiches and the tiny desserts).

Each tea party also had an assortment of scones.  These were interesting and fun to sample but I always preferred the little sandwiches and the desserts.

But that is now all in the past!

When we decided to throw our own tea party for my niece who was getting married, we started searching high and low for the best of the best tea party recipes.

We found tons and tons of great recipes for finger sandwiches and little desserts, but when it came to scones recipes, we just weren’t having much success.

We tried several recipes that promises to be tasty, but they were all just so-so.

As the date of the shower was closing in on us, we still hadn’t found a scones recipe that we thought was tasty enough to serve at our tea party.

That’s when another niece of mine told us she had a friend who has a small business that puts on tea parties for other women.  She said she would ask her friend for her recipes and that she, my niece, would bake them and bring them to our shower.

Jules and I said that would be great and we didn’t give the scones another thought.

And then it happened!  When my niece showed up the morning of the shower with three types of scones, I thought I would give one a taste.

Oh My Goodness!!!

The first one I tasted was sooo good!  I then tried the other two flavors, which were pretty good, but not nearly as good as the first one.

Wild Blueberry Scones . . . just saying their name makes my mouth water!  They were a Huge hit at our tea party!

I now make them at least once a month for any occasion I can think of.  (Unfortunately, they all get eaten so fast that I have to hide a couple away for when I’m all alone and can slowly savor them without having to scarf them down before someone else does!)
